The Blue Ridge Mountains Wine and Jazz Festival will be held Saturday, June 16th at the Downtown Blue Ridge Park. Gates open at 1pm, and music will play from 2 to 10pm. This years lineup includes talented Jazz artist such as Kharisma Jazzmatic Funk, The 4 Korners, Tray Dahl & The Jugtime Ragband, and Taryn Newborne. With over 15 vineyards participating, attendees can expect to taste a variety of local and diverse wine.
The purpose of this festival "is for the North Georgia Mountains to be recognized as “A Cultural Tourism Destination”, to feature regional wines being produced locally, provide financial support and opportunities for area students of Jazz music, and awareness to the community as to the importance of this legendary American music style."
If you purchased tickets in advance, please bring your ticket receipt with you. If you plan to drink wine or beer, please have your ID ready to show at the entrance. The minimum age to enter is 18, so children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Attendees should also keep in mind that tickets are non-refundable, and that pets, coolers, or outside food/drinks are NOT permitted. Lawn chairs, blankets, fanny packs, water bottles, small bags, single compartment backpacks & purses are permitted.
